Theology Tuesday: What about my parents?
Thomas Watson, the old Puritan, said:
Children are the vineyard of the parent’s planting, and honor done to the parent is some of the fruit of the vineyard.
In today’s very messed-up family landscape with broken relationships and vows, how do we still honor our parents? Is that even possible? Can you really honor the dishonorable—specifically, if you had a rough childhood?
